What's an immersive film?

Skylines, in a sense is revolutionary in that we're not just selling the idea of a film (and a grand film it will be), but we're also promoting a format. A state like Texas - big, bold and beautiful - should be shown in a format that can adequately exhibit all its overwhelming features. A dome theater in which the viewer is surrounded by the image in all directions, will be the closest thing to actually taking you into the story, and will offer a visually stunning experience for the viewer. This is the next evolutionary step in film making. See below.

Just as Google Street view captures a wide viewing area, we also  capture 185 degree view, and using special software we're able to correct the image for standard television.
